Byron Hunter - Independent Filmmaker

Byron C, Hunter is a television producer and documentary filmmaker who has

produced more than a dozen feature documentaries for network and cable television

worldwide. Among his award-winning documentaries are “Black Wheels,” “The Lessons

of Hayti,” and “Universal Babe.”

Byron has worked of documentary projects in partnership with organizations that

include the NBA, WNBA, MLB, NASCAR, the PGA of America, FIBA and the New

York Yankees. His work has been aired on ABC, NBC, FOX, ESPN, DIRECT TV, BET,

and Speed Channel.

One of his most recent films, “Santos Vive,” about the 1973 murder of 12-year old

Santos Rodriquez, has been influential in the honoring of Santos Rodriquez bt the City of

Dallas more than 46 years after his murder.
